Pilar García Navarro fue keynote speaker en la International Conference on HydroInformatics (HIC2024), celebrada del 27 al 30 de mayo en Pekín. La conferencia, bajo el lema “From Natural to Digital Water: Challenges and Opportunities”, reunió a expertos internacionales para discutir los avances en la digitalización de los recursos hídricos.
En su charla “The Road from Physically Based Computational Hydraulics to Digital Water”, presentó avances en modelos de simulación hidráulica. Además, Mario Morales organizó la sesión “SS13 High-Performance Computing in Hydrodynamics, Hydrology and Hydroinformatics” y presentó “Advancing Environmental Simulations through SERGHEI: Novel Approaches in Hydrodynamic Modeling”.
La HIC2024 fomentó la innovación y la cooperación internacional en el campo de la hidroinformática, destacando el papel crucial de la tecnología en la gestión de recursos hídricos. The conference, themed “From Natural to Digital Water: Challenges and Opportunities,” brought together international experts to discuss advances in the digitalization of water resources.
