Adrian Navas has attended the training course “Introduction to parallel programming with MPI and OpenMP” offered by Julich Supercomputing Center (JSC)
from 31st of January to 2nd of February 2017 in Julich (Germany). The focus of the course was on the usage of the Message Passing Interface (MPI), the most used programming model for systems with distributed memory. Furthermore, OpenMP which is usually used on shared-memory architectures, was addressed. These tools are being used in the computational codes developed at GHC.
